Trying to put a name to it all

Been trying to think of what to call this company! With a surname of Baker i'm getting all sorts of really clever suggestions from friends and family about using that but, I dunno, it seems a bit obvious.

"Baker Baker" has a ring to it but. Me and James have been thinking pretty hard and throwing a few ideas about. We both are fans of american cookery and have long since admired brownies in particular so something with an american slant would work - brownies being an american classic, after all!! As James has said before we want to avoid anything too "women's institute" or anything that makes you think of a doily on a plate with a nice bit of coffee and walnut cake plonked on top. Not that theres anything wrong with a bit of coffee and walnut cake, it just don't really fit with the american theme. One word keeps floating up to the top - buffalo, as in buffalo wings - and when i've run it past the better half and James there have been enthusiastic murmurs of agreement, which none of the other suggestions got. Buffalo Brownies? Sounds good to me.

  • Post-Atomic haze

Oh dear God what do you people do in that kitchen?

Just got my first order, and am sitting sprawled in a post-Atomic haze, barely able to type.

Not only are they some of the best blondies I've ever had (oh, and they go great with a beer, by the way) but they came right through my letterbox less than two days after I ordered. Perfection!
