So, here's a few xmassy things I'd like to share with y'all.
As the de facto spokesman for Buffalo Brownies, the pleasure of announcing new flavours (and new stuff in general) tends to fall to me. It's not long before the rest of Team BB get to enjoy the look on your face and the appreciative noises which escape your mouth as you ruminate upon that first sample of something new and brilliant, so the announcement is really only where the fun starts.
NEW FLAVOURS!
You asked for them (repeatedly!) so we are very, very happy to oblige. In time for Christmas this year, we are launching three, count 'em, THREE new flavours, each with its own unique twist on a flavour of Christmas. Please welcome to the Range...
A mince pie, but in blondie form. Kick your diet in the sultanas.
Spiced orange flavours in a 70% dark chocolate brownie. I spent more time than is really necessarily trying to crowbar in a reference to "clover" in the tagline for this, because of the predominance of clove amongst the spicing and, I think you'll agree, NAILED IT.
There is a ridiculous amount of ruby port in this 80% dark chocolate brownie. I was shocked that it actually baked but, well, baked it did. And the flavours... OH! The flavours! Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, the aforementioned port, a generous slug of amaretto... and then some bits of orange jelly floating on top because mulled wine just wouldn't be right. Mull it?
DIVERSIFIED PRODUCTS!
If you come down to the mega December Farmers' Market at Sutton Bonington, this Wednesday (3 Dec), you will see that in addition to our usual array of brownies and blondies we will also have for sale some mixed bags of chocolate-coated cinder toffee, designed to mirror the flavours of our favourite Buffalo Brownies slices! They went down a storm at the Bonfire Extravaganza at SB in November and the organisers asked us to bring them to the December market too, which was very kind of them. The bags will be available for £5 each.
For the truly ardent fan of Buffalo Brownies, we will also have a small supply of BB wall calendars (£10 each) featuring some pretty pictures of twelve of our flavours. We all need beautiful walls covered with food porn, don't we?
What you won't see, however, is an example of a prototype of something really exciting we've tried out for this month. We'll reveal more in a few days' time (once the inaugural recipients have received theirs) but if you are of a mind to plan ahead a year in advance, we think you'll be quite excited at the prospect... [/cryptic]
So, that's me done. See you out there and, if I don't, have a great Festive Family Funtimes Period!

My brownies and blondies were waiting for me when I got back from a damp trip to Edinburgh. They were worth waiting for. A-may-zing.

Thank you for the scrumptious brownies!
They arrived exactly on the date requested. I was really impressed with that! The Clementine brownies were moist, fudgy and an absolute treat. I will order another couple of compact packs from you very soon. Thank you again for making my mum's birthday extra special.

'Tis the season to be jolly, and what could be more jolly than boozy, festive-flavoured brownies?
